The single most important decision a nominator makes is which category to enter. The International Spa Awards offers 150+ categories across luxury / day / hotel / medical / destination spa awards, plus wellness retreats, brands, leadership and emerging-business streams. Entering the right category dramatically improves your submission's chance of recognition.
Browse the full category list at /index.html#categories before nominating. Most submissions enter 1–3 categories that align with the property's strongest dimensions — not every available category. Quality of submission matters more than quantity of entries.
Step-by-Step: Completing the Nomination Form
1. Go to /award-nomination.html. The centralized Golden Tree Awards form handles every entry across all programmes. 2. Enter property and contact details. 3. Select your category (or categories — you can enter multiple in one submission). 4. Complete the submission narrative — what makes your spa exceptional, with specific evidence. 5. Submit and receive acknowledgement within 48 hours.
The form takes 20–30 minutes for a complete submission. Have your key facts ready — guest satisfaction data if available, team credentials, treatment menu highlights, sustainability practices, and any prior recognition or media coverage.
After Submission: What Happens Next
Within 48 hours: confirmation of receipt. Within 4–6 weeks: jury feedback on shortlisting status. October 2026: final results communicated to all entrants. 14 November 2026: gala ceremony at the Westin Marina Hotel, Dubai. Winners are announced at the gala and confirmed via post-event communication.
Winners receive trophy, plaque, digital certificate, licensed winner badge, year-round recognition placement, and an invitation to the gala. Non-winning shortlisted entries receive jury feedback on their submission's strengths and areas for development — useful regardless of outcome.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is there a deadline?
Nominations are evaluated on a rolling basis. Earlier submissions receive earlier feedback. The final deadline for the 2026 edition is published 30 days before the gala.
Can I nominate someone else's spa?
Yes — third-party nominations are accepted and welcomed.
What if I'm nominated for the wrong category?
The jury panel can move submissions between categories during review. Inform the awards team if you'd like to change category post-submission.
Can I enter multiple properties in one submission?
Each property enters as its own submission. Multi-property groups enter individual properties separately, plus the group-level Best Spa Chain category if applicable.
What happens if I don't win?
All shortlisted entrants receive jury feedback. Non-shortlisted entrants can resubmit in subsequent editions with the benefit of any feedback provided.
